Step 1: Access the Defects List
Log in to your BuildPass account and navigate to the main dashboard.
Locate the "Defects" section or tab, which should be visible on the dashboard.
Step 2: Scroll Through the Defects List
Scroll through the list of defects to get an overview of the subcontractors associated with each defect.
This will help you identify the subcontractor whose defects you want to view specifically.
Step 3: Apply Subcontractor Filter
In the Defects section, find the "Filters" option. It is usually located at the top or side of the page.
Click on the "Filters" option to open the filter settings.
Step 4: Select the Subcontractor
Within the filter settings, locate the subcontractor filter dropdown menu.
Choose the subcontractor you wish to view defects for. In this case, select "All Stack" from the list.
The filter view will now display defects assigned to the selected subcontractor, as indicated by the subcontractor banner.
Step 5: Additional Filter Options
You can further refine the list by applying additional filters based on your requirements.
For example, you may want to focus on defects that are "In Progress" or "To Do."
Explore the filter options and choose the relevant filters to narrow down the list.
Step 6: Apply Custom Filters
If desired, you can apply filters based on specific criteria such as priority level, creation date, or creator.
Examples include selecting "High Priority" or "Critical Priority" defects, defects created within a specific date range, or defects created by a particular user.
Remember to scroll to the bottom of the filter settings to see a summary of the filters currently applied.
Step 7: Remove or Modify Filters
If you want to remove or modify a filter, locate the applied filters at the bottom of the page.
Click on the respective filter to remove it, or adjust the filter settings as needed.
Step 8: Review the Filtered List
Once you have applied the desired filters, review the list of defects that meet your criteria.
The list will now display only the defects associated with the selected subcontractor and any additional filters you have applied.
